Busch Gardens welcomed its newest resident earlier this week: an adorable Aardvark born Monday, March 26. The healthy baby weighs about 4.8 pounds and is expected to grow to more than 120 lbs. within its first year.
It is currently living behind the scenes at Jambo Junction – located in the Nairobi area of the park – and is receiving care from members of the animal care team. The baby will join mom “Izzy” and dad “Friz” in the upcoming weeks and will be an Animal Ambassador for the park, along with its older brother “Zawadi,” who will be a year old on April 10.
There are fewer than 40 aardvarks in zoos in North America. They are solitary by nature, and Aardvark births are not common. (via)

so cute if I ever get a cat I want one of these or the similar breeds I do prefer the ones with slightly more fur and by slightly I do mean slightly what breed is this? I kinda want a Devon Rex srsly though look at those ears aaaaaa cats I would so name one after an alien in a very affectionate way obviously animals

Yeah so, I accidentally found this while googling for Lucas Bryant in QaF and I thought it was a manip. It’s not. A tv movie was made in 2006 with three actors who would end up as leads in three different (current) SyFy shows… okay, so Colin had just started Eureka but yeah. I watched it and it was adorable. Probably a lot better cause I recognize the actors and love their shows.
